iStore CEO Chris Dodd said, “When we decided to build a store in Maponya Mall, our vision was bigger than retail.

“We wanted to give back to the community and be part of shaping a generation equipped for the technology space.”
The sessions were facilitated by a team of iStore Education Programme facilitators, each bringing a wealth of experience in education, software development, and data analytics. This ensured that every participant received personalised mentorship and inspiration.
A parent of one of the learners expressed appreciation for the initiative, saying the camp has opened new doors for children in Soweto.
