Emshukantambo Secondary seeks sponsors for matric valedictory ceremony
The farewell ceremony will include an awards ceremony to recognise the stellar achievements of the matrics in the preliminary exams.
Emshukantambo Secondary School, Pimville Zone 1, Soweto is requesting sponsorship to make its matric valedictory ceremony on October 17 a success.
With the school turning 35 years old, it has consistently delivered exceptional results. This ceremony will honour the class of 2025.
The class has put in hours of work attending weekend classes and camps to ensure that they perform well.

This farewell function will include an awards ceremony recognising achievements in the preliminary examinations and motivating them for their final exams, which are a couple of days away.
The principal, Richard Masemola, said: “We are looking forward to hosting a memorable valedictory ceremony for our learners.
“Completing twelve years of education is a monumental achievement, and we want to encourage our learners to attend the Last-push Academic Camp aimed at delivering the best results for the National Senior Certificate Examinations.’’

This ceremony will also be a launchpad for the school’s drive to build a school hall to ensure that future matrics have a safe and conducive environment to write their examinations. The school also hopes its alumni will attend to motivate the learners through their achievements.
The school hopes to partner with the community and the business leaders in Soweto to raise funds for the event and the school hall.
