South African artist Nkiyase Mbatha unveils heartfelt love track
Nkayise Mbatha’s latest single reflects confidence, passion and a renewed embrace of love without limits.
Nkiyase Mondlana Mbatha, a South African actress, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, born in Alexandra, has released a love track titled I Wanna Love You from the album I Am One in a Million.
The artist was inspired by her father’s love for music and started performing at school at the age of seven.
She was then crowned as the first Miss Alex FM in 1997. She has appeared in major productions including Jacob’s Cross, Umshoza Wami and Tjovitjo and has hosted significant events such as the Alive Jazz in the lake (2018- 2019).
Her music career took off in 2000 when she joined Petite, the country’s first kwaito group.

She later joined Kalawa Jazmee Records, featuring on Trompies’ Malabulabu and collaborated with legendary artists including Oskido, Arthur Mafokate, Keith Thompson and many others.
“With the latest song I want to make a fearless statement about love, choosing openness, passion and emotional freedom. The song reflects confidence, growth and refusal to let the past dictate the future, embracing love without limits,” said Mbatha.
Mbatha’s solo career includes four studio albums: Lebota, Mudar E Bom, I Am One in a Million, and I Am Who I Am.
Her international presence includes touring Germany during the 206 FIFA World Cup and the UK in 2007 to promote kwaito music globally.

Beyond entertainment, she is deeply committed to philanthropy. She founded the Yes I Am Dyslexic campaign to raise awareness about dyslexia and mild intellectual disabilities in local communities.The Album ‘I Am One in a Million’ is available on all digital platforms.
