Curro Protea Glen organised the Father Figure and Boy Child Mentor Session as part of its June 20 celebrations.

The session involved Grade 10–12 learners and their fathers.

The purpose of this session was to provide guidance, mentorship and motivation to learners.

Through open conversations, the learners were motivated to embrace qualities such as responsibility, resilience, and leadership.

Among the notable aspects of this session was the involvement of our guest speakers, who delivered insightful advice to the learners.

This is because their words made it clear how important role models are in the future development of young men.

Learners and their father figures take part in interactive games designed to encourage teamwork, communication and stronger bonds.

This session was considered successful as it helped to create more connections within the school and reminded us of the role of father figures in education and personal development.

Curro Protea Glen wishes to express its gratitude to all those who participated in the event.

Guest speakers share words of wisdom and practical advice with learners.
