Emerging artist Nvcho aims to grow his career in the music industry
Rising artist Nvcho from Kwa-Thema, Springs, is gaining recognition in South Africa’s Amapiano scene through collaborations with top musicians and new music releases.
Unathi Jafta Mzimkhulu from Kwa-Thema, also known in the entertainment industry as Nvcho, aims to excel in his entertainment career.
The vocalist, songwriter, and producer from Kwa-Thema, Springs, started his career as a church drummer. His journey has evolved into becoming one of Amapiano’s emotionally resonant voices.
He gained major traction through collaborations with Mathandos and Major League on the breakout track Bakwa Lah.

Since then, Nvcho has appeared on Uncle Waffles Uwelona and Dbn Gogo’s acclaimed album What’s Real.
His soulful voice has made him a go-to collaborator for Amapiano powerhouses like Kelvin Momo, Babalwa M, Mdu aka TRP, Lady Du, and Sam Deep.
Nvcho released his debut collaborative album, This Is Us, with Mathandos, followed by a deluxe edition. He later co-released his first full-length solo vocal project, Dust 2 Dust, with Stixx.
His latest offering is a joint album with Sam Deep Stixx titled Kings of Kwapi Vol-1.
Nvcho features standout Amapiano albums, including Amukelani, Kurhula, Jazz Cruise, and Sewe.
“Our dreams are possible even if we come from low-income or underprivileged backgrounds. The music genre that I do gives voice to the voiceless and our local youth, echoing both the past and the future of South African Music,” Nvcho said.
