Thobejane wants out

A source close to former Baroka FC coach Kgoloko Thobejane, has revealed that the former mentor is considering leaving the club after he was unceremoniously demoted to the position of assistant coach, making way for for the experienced Jacob Sakala.

Thobejane led bakgaga to a dismal first half of the season, which is their first run-out in the top flight, as they are currently rock-bottom in the Absa Premiership standings.

“He is a very proud man, he feels disrespected and undermined. Maybe he will ask to be relieved of his duties,” revealed the source.

Thobejane made a bold statement at the beginning of the season when he said his side would go on to win the league.
