Rainbow gives back

A substantial donation made by Rainbow Education Centre has been welcomed by Lonmin House and Hope iThemba.

Rainbow Education Centre donated bags and boxes of clothing and products to Hope iThemba Crisis Pregnancy Centre.

Also to receive donations from Rainbow was the Lonmin House at the Far East Rand Hospital, which houses children who are receiving treatment at the hospital and their mothers, also received donations from Rainbow.

The donation was split between the two organisations and contained toys, baby clothing and products, as well as products for the mothers.

R550 worth of additional products for the mothers at Lonmin House such as tea, sugar and other perishables were purchased by Rainbow.

R550 was also handed over to Hope iThemba which will be used to purchase baby food, formula and other baby products.

“Thank you Rainbow for this great donation, we really appreciate it,” said Margaret Mashiayane, social worker at the Far East Rand Hospital and manager of the Lonmin House.
