An Edelweiss garage was robbed by six suspects in the early hours of yesterday morning, says Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.
The complainant says he was inside the shop when approximately six suspects came into the shop, pushing another employee in front of them.
The suspects forced both men to lie on the ground behind the bakery counter.

One of the suspects was armed with a shotgun and the others with hand weapons.
They asked where the safe was as they allegedly wanted to bomb it.
They tried to open the one ATM with an axe and another unknown object but did not succeed.
After failing, the suspects took the two tills and emptied the money into a black bag.
The suspects suddenly saw a private security car outside the shop across the road where it had stopped.
They ran out and, according to CCTV footage, it appears as though the suspect with the shotgun fired one round into the air before they ran on foot towards Daggafontein.

The stolen items included cash (R10 000), gold Samsung J5 (R2 800), silver Mobicell (R1 200), black P30 light (R6 500), car keys and house keys (R2 000) and black Vodafone (R500).
The total value of items stolen is R23 000.
No injuries were reported.
