Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says a man was found lying face down in a pool of blood on the corner of Libia and Magadushe streets last Saturday evening. The deceased was identified as Tsepo Lekoane, who had arrived the day before from Limpopo.
It is alleged that a white Quantum kombi drove by and suspects got out and shot at the victim about 12 to 13 times, according to the cartridges lying around the body.

Paramedics declared the victim dead and discovered 10 gunshot wounds in his back.
The reason for the shooting is unknown.
Police say a murder investigation will be opened.
