Police urge motorists to be vigilant

Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says they had a case of a man who had R60 000 stolen from his car recently.

The Springs police are urging the public to keep their valuables out of sight when driving around.

This comes after a rise over the past month of smash and grabs.

The money was in a bag that the man placed on the car seat.

“Please put your goods in the boot of your car and don’t talk on your cellphone while driving.

“Be vigilant at all times,” says Ramphora.
