A man was hijacked on the N17 near Endicott last Tuesday evening, says Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.

One of the suspects got in the driver’s seat and the other one sat with the victim at the back.
The suspect with the firearm went back to their vehicle, made a u-turn and drove with the victim, and while driving the victim was searched.
The victim had R22 000 in his pocket and R8 000 in the cubby-hole.
They stopped in a bush next to Bongane Primary School and pulled the victim out of the vehicle, with his hands tied together.
He tried to run but they caught him and brought him back. The victim saw a white man who was also lying down with his hands tied. He was then placed next to the white man with another suspect watching them.
