City calls for comment on care centre policy
Comment should be made between May 6 and June 6.
The City of Ekurhuleni is urging its stakeholders to make comments on the drafting of the city’s Child Care Centre Policy between May 6 and June 6.
This policy aims to regulate and control the operations of child care centres in Ekurhuleni through the prescribed norms and standards, to ensure compliance with safety and health requirements and improve the proper establishment of these centres.
The policy will also look at ways to improve the application process.
An electronic copy of this draft policy can be obtained from www.ekurhuleni.gov.za and at selected Customer Care Centres (CCC) during office hours.
Comments can be made through the City’s website and at the office of the Area Manager: City Planning at the following CCC during the office hours: Springs, 4th floor, F-Block, Springs Civic Centre, on the corner of Plantation and Main Reef roads.
