SAPS arrests man (21) for murder and attempted murder of two brothers in Springs
An argument led to the fatal stabbing of a 34-year-old man.
The SAPS arrested a 21-year-old man regarding the murder and attempted murder of two brothers.
“The deceased (34) and his brother (29) were drinking at the Park Hotel on March 30. There was an argument between them and the suspect,” said the Springs SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Themba Tshabalala.
“The suspect then stabbed the deceased and his brother with a knife. Both victims were taken to the Far East Rand Hospital, where one victim passed away.
“The SAPS reviewed the CCTV footage and identified the suspect during investigations. Officers arrested the suspect and seized the murder weapon from his residence.”
The investigation continues.
