A 26-year-old man was fatally stabbed on the evening of October 4.

The Springs Advertiser learnt from a reliable source that the police were called to the Parkland Hospital, where the victim had been admitted with a stab wound to his upper chest.

An investigation revealed the incident took place in Wright Park. Police have arrested a suspect and opened a murder case.
