Rotary volunteer recognised for transforming lives at Vita Nova Centre
Vita Nova Centre has recognised Rotary East Rand E Club member Louise Schaap for her dedication and hands-on support that continues to improve the lives of residents.
Vita Nova Centre has expressed its gratitude to Rotary East Rand eClub member Louise Schaap for the difference she continues to make at the centre through her generosity, compassion and willingness to help.
The centre’s manager Michelle Immelman thanked Schaap for her support both as a Rotary club member and in her personal capacity.
According to Immelman, Schaap has contributed in numerous ways, including building the ramp for the outdoor sensory area, repairing wheelchairs, supporting the bottle cap collection and stepping in whenever there is a need.
“Your generosity, compassion and servant heart have touched the lives of our residents and staff in ways that words can never fully express. You do not just give your time and skills. You give hope, dignity and love,” she said.
The centre also thanked Schaap for believing in its work and for her unwavering support and expressed that they are truly blessed to have Schaap as part of the Vita Nova family.
