No free car wash for you

On the morning of September 26, at about 11am, I was reading the Advertiser and was shocked to see the police vehicle BSW997B was on page 18 again.

I am a manager at a car wash and the next moment the same vehicle pulls in the wash bay. When we were finished and he was on his way to the bakkie I asked for the payment and he said his office said he can come here to us for a free wash.

The office called me and asked if I’m the owner, I said I’m the manager and I know that no such arrangement was made.

“So what can we do now? I will tell the station we owe you money,” he said to me.

I told him that he needs to pay, and he refused to do so, got in the vehicle and left.

I’m very disappointed in them. They are the people we are supposed to trust. And now they are trying everything to get a service for free.
