No fish tomorrow if you kill them now

Can any one explain this concept to these fishermen?

Reading about the cruel killing of carp in a stream in Springs made me again take up my pen.

Mr Fisherman, don’t you know there will be less fish to catch next year if you kill a spawning fish this year?

Is there not someone who can explain this concept to these fishermen in the stream?

And what disgusts me more is killing these carps with garden forks, because in my book this is the most cruel method I can think of to catch a fish.

I know the “fishermen” doing it are poor and have to feed their families.

And if this is their only form of income, is there not someone who can teach them?

I am sure there are rules and regulations somewhere about catching fish, but it seems that no-one knows who is supposed to enforce the law, by-law or ordinance that protects these carps from extinction.

Or are these fish free for all to take until nothing is left for tomorrow?

I am disgusted.
