They are pumping pollution in our drains

'Somewhat suspicious – I think so?'

As if we don’t have enough of a pollution here in Springs, people just have no care and they add to the problem by parking honey suckle vehicles in the street and offloading their rubbish into the gutters.

Quite a few times there have been these vehicles pumping “who knows what” into the gutters and manholes and the smell can be too awful for words.

I know most of them are highly illegal as they are watching and when you show a bit of interest, they are off down the road.

Last Thursday, I came home to find a huge big orange vehicle pumping into the gutter on Townsend Road and when I was spotted with my camera, I have never seen people move so fast to pack up and drive off.

Somewhat suspicious – I think so?

Unfortunately I was not able to get their licence number as I could see three men working and was a little afraid to actually confront them.

Our gutters were actually cleaned out about a week ago by a gang of people doing manual work so I really don’t know what these people were doing if it was not illegal.
