Last week The Addie published the article Mouldy bathroom at metro’s Rusoord flat a health risk, in which we explained that pensioners Phillip and Hester Koen were worried about their health as their bathroom ceiling was covered in mould.
Metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe has now responded to our enquiry and says the metro is aware that some units at Rusoord have developed mould.
“The metro does have a budget for repairs and we do maintenance repairs as and when required.”
