The Springs Country Club held its annual Winter Championships over the past weekend.
Due to the pandemic, no formal prizegiving was allowed. This did not dampen the players’ spirits and they gave it their all to be crowned the winners of their divisions.

“This Saturday is the second round of the Windhoek International Pairs Competition. Doug Zeeman and Chris Steyn have already qualified for the regional finals, so let’s get some more qualifiers in.
“For every 309 players we have, we get a team in the finals, so let’s get at least 60 players this Saturday. Bookings can be done at the pro shop,” said club captain Deon Kotze.
