Freeloaders: a disappointment
DVD: Freeloaders Reviewed by: Natasha Kotze Review made possible by: Ster-Kinekor Rating: A generous 1.5

When I saw the film Freeloaders was brought to us by the creative geniuses who brought us Super Troopers, Beerfest and Club Dread, I was hopeful.
I couldn’t stop laughing during those three films as they were inappropriately funny and ridiculous.
Unfortunately, Freeloaders was ridiculous and annoying.
It tells the story of a group of slackers who are living for free in their rock star friend’s mansion.
They have a pretty sweet deal until the friend decides to sell the house.
What follows is their silly and movie-spoof-like plans to dissuade potential buyers from buying the house.
And, of course, one of them falls in love with the realtor’s assistant.
We never would have guessed that!
Due to its predictability and silliness, I give it a 1.5 out of 5 – and I think I might even be a bit generous.
