CSC launched a puppet show

CSC displayed in their puppet show the love they have for children.

Christian Social Council (CSC) Witbank launched a puppet show in aid of Child Protection Week.

Child Protection Week aims to make children aware of their rights as well as to motivate and support children by enhancing their knowledge with regards to all types of abuse as well as how to stay safe.

The puppet show was held at various crèches and schools throughout the eMalahleni area, which includes Phola, Ogies, Vosman and Spring Valley. The show was presented in three languages: Afrikaans, English and Zulu.

A social worker at the CSC constructed a five-finger method to make children aware of abuse, as well as to know how to handle such a situation.

CSC leaves the following message for every child: “You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

CSC displayed in their puppet show the love they have for children and their drive to teach them how to protect themselves.
