Father arrested after daughter mysteriously died in Phola, Ogies

The case has been postponed for a week.

Phola police arrested the man who is suspected to have had a hand in the mysterious death of his daughter that is said to be between 25-30 years old.

It is alleged that the man slapped his daughter amid a heated argument that took place on Saturday, September 10 at approximately 30 minutes before midnight.

Police responded to a complaint and later arrested the father on the spot at New Stand in Phola, Ogies.

The man who has since been detained at Phola Police Station appeared at Ogies Magistrate’s Court on Monday, September 12, the case was postponed to Monday, September 19 for a formal bail application.
