For 4 Witbank High learners, the next race is bigger and tougher – and national
Four Witbank High learners have earned their places on the national stage and will join eMalahleni’s strong athletics contingent at the ASA championships.
Four Witbank High School learners are set to take their talents to the national stage after earning selection to Team Mpumalanga for the ASA national championships.
Asanda Ngwenya, Desmond Tolamo, Keabetswe Masemola and Comfort Mashianoke have secured their places among the province’s representatives following their performances in cross-country.
Strong local representation
The learners will also form part of a strong eMalahleni contingent heading to the national championships, with other athletes from the City of Coal, including runners from Nkangala Athletic Academy, also set to represent the province.
“We are incredibly proud of our cross-country athletes who have earned their place at the National Championships as part of Team Mpumalanga. Your dedication, discipline and determination have truly paid off. We celebrate each of you and the incredible achievement you have accomplished,” the school said.
