The body of 32-year-old Tshepho Makgalo was found at the stream in Lynnville on Monday, March 2 at about 11:20.
According to the police, the body was found facing down. The deceased was wearing a blue shirt and brown jeans. Police also found some bloodstains on the ground. The body had wounds at the back and on the head indicating that the deceased was assaulted.
It is suspected that the deceased was involved in a fight before his death. He was last seen on Saturday, February 28 at about 11:30. Apparently he was wearing new sneakers, which were not found at the scene.
Police are investigating a case of murder and no one has been arrested.
