Community demands no bail for 3 accused of Radebe murder in Lynnville as case returns to court next week
Disappointed community members and Radebe family opposing bail outside court learn that the bail application for three Lynnville murder suspects is scheduled for October 12.
Community members and Radebe family who made a u-turn at the eMalahleni Magistrate’s Court to oppose bail for three people accused of murdering Vusimuzi Radebe (40) were left disappointed when they learnt the case is set for October 12.

Nkosinathi Samkelo Masinga (31), Queenath Skosana (39) and Lassy Phahlamohlala (42) were expected to appear for their bail application, but the accused did not appear in court.
The three suspects remain in custody after making their first appearance on September 28.
Alleged vigilante attack
The three accused were arrested following Radebe’s death. He was assaulted in Lynnville on September 19, allegedly by a group of community members.
According to police, officers responded to a complaint of alleged vigilantism and found Radebe lying on the ground with visible injuries.
Emergency medical services declared him dead on the scene, and a murder case was subsequently opened.

Family seeks answers
Radebe’s relatives maintain that he may have been mistaken for someone involved in criminal activity and insist there was no evidence linking him to any wrongdoing.
They continue to seek answers about the circumstances that led to the fatal attack.
Police investigations remain ongoing, and no additional arrests have been announced at the time of publication.
