Altogether 64 pinches of nyaope were confiscated and taken to Witbank Police Station after successful operations were carried out.
On March 21, at about 15:30 police searched a suspect’s kitchen and found 25 pinches of nyaope. They arrested the suspect and charged him with possession of drugs, the arrest took place close to Paxton.
On March 20 police received a tip-off of individuals selling drugs in Uthingo Park. Police headed out to the scene, where they searched two men and two women and found them in possession of 16 pinches of nyaope, they arrested the suspect in possession of drugs.
On March 19, two policemen were out on patrol in the Central Business District when they received information regarding a suspect selling drugs near SARS offices. They followed the suspect to Hoffmeyer Street where they searched him and found him in possession of 23 pinches of heroine.
