Last week they arrested 44 suspects for various crimes such as attempted murder, possession of drugs and rape, among other serious crimes.
The more common crimes that the police handled include several cases of shoplifting, common assault and general theft.
Suspects were arrested for possession of drugs, and police also made arrests regarding four rape cases, assault with intent to do grievous harm cases, and attempted murder, of which three cases were handled.
There were also malicious damage to property cases and a suspect was arrested for being in possession of suspected stolen goods.
Police arrested several suspects in Jackaroo Park for being in possession of illegal cigarettes as well.
