St Thomas' pupils grabbed medals at various sporting events held recently
Silver medals for Onthatile
Onthatile Matlala, a learner from St Thomas Aquinas School competed and won two silver medals, one for Kata and one for Kumite on August 27, congratulations Onthatile.
Both grab medals
Matthew and Julian Andrews received gold medals in the Xerox Sprint Gala on September 17, representing St Thomas Aquinas School. Julian swam three races and achieved three personal best times he is also placed third in the 50m backstroke, third in the 100m freestyle and second in the 100m backstroke. Matthew achieved two personal best times and won three medals he is placed third in the 100m breaststroke, second in the 100m freestyle and 50m breaststroke.
The right stroke
Sian Byrs, from St Thomas Aquinas School, swam in six races in the Xerox Sprint Gala on September 17, she came third in the backstroke event.
