Thabiso Mkhwebane, who is eMalahleni’s very own, represented the country and he fought with Dallien Neyman from Namibia. Thabiso did well under the Kickboxing Junior Open division by beating his opponent on the fourth round with a technical knockout.

The Grade 6 learner from Duvha Primary School has been training kickboxing since the age of 8 and has 22 fights under his name. Winning 20 and having two draws.

Instructors Oshidoshi Frank Sibusiso Khuluse and Sensei Doctor Martin Mkhwebane is preparing the 13-year-old for the upcoming tournaments taking place on April 6 in Mauritius, June 6 and 7 in Atlanta, USA and August in Namibia.
