Super cop Constable Xolisile Mokwena is transferred

She was described as a hard worker and a disciplined member and will definitely leave a footprint

Some police officers at Vosman Police Station nearly shed a tear when they were saying farewell to Constable Xolisile Mokwena who has been transferred to another station.

Constable Xolisile Mokwena who worked as a Social Crime Prevention co-ordinator was described as a hard worker and a disciplined member and will definitely leave a footprint. Members said she touched each one of them in different ways and they will always remember those times.

“You make the social crime unit to be alive by your conduct and we hope you will continue doing the same where you are going and we won’t forget you and we will miss you.” said the member.

Captain Klaas Maloka described Constable Mokwena as someone who was trustworthy and always willing to walk the extra mile in her work.

“You work with excellence and at one time you were called a ‘super cop’ because of your dedication and commitment. You made sure that children who had social problems were taken to school and you also bought them uniforms. You gave new meaning to the word love and you show that in your actions. Thank you so much for all that you have done, we wish you well and wished that you could stay here at Vosman. We know that you always strive for a better SAPS.” added Captain Maloka.

Sergeant Lamola who had worked with Constable Mokwena praised her and said that she had learned a lot from her and treated her as part of her family. She also indicated that Constable Mokwena was a step ahead in dealing with issues and it was sad to see her leaving but wished her well.

Mr David Makgetloa, the Vosman Police Station CPF (Community Policing Forum) chairperson, alluded to the fact that they have developed a good working relationship with Constable Mokwena as CPF members.

“She helped us a lot in dealing with crime related issues. Her attitude was always positive and played a leading part in our campaigns and operations. She went out of her way and organised transport for us and the community benefitted a lot from her work. She was always willing to listen to us and offer advice. You were the best”.
