Their advancement marks a proud moment for the Nkangala cluster, as these schools will now carry the district’s banner to the provincial stage.

The ABC Motsepe South African Schools Choral Eisteddfod is a national competition that celebrates the power of music in education.

Established through the partnership between the ABC Motsepe Foundation and the Department of Basic Education, SASCE provides a platform for learners to showcase their vocal talent, discipline, and creativity.

The competition promotes cultural pride, teamwork, and academic excellence, while providing schools with the opportunity to compete at the district, provincial, and national levels.

Only schools that made it to the first and second positions are proceeding to the provincial-level competition, which will be held at Steve Tshwete Banquet Hall from June 10 to 13.
