Lorry overturns at intersection

Two men were seriously injured when their lorry they were in, overturned.

Two men were seriously injured when their lorry they were in, overturned.

The accident took place on August 15 at about 19:00 at the intersection of Steve Bantu Biko and OR Tambo streets.

According to witnesses a car was waiting at the intersection preparing to turn from Steve Bantu Biko into OR Tambo when the light turned green, at this time the lorry was travelling down OR Tambo and lost control of the vehicle.


Paramedics from Langamed Emergency Management Services and Legacy Emergency Specialists prepare the driver for transport.

This resulted in the lorry overturning as it hit the curb on the corner of the intersection, seriously injuring both its driver and passenger.
