Vosman police are investigating a case of murder after a man was found strangled in his house.

Vosman police are investigating a case of murder after a man was found strangled in his house.

The police reported that on Friday, October 6 at about 18:00, Samuel Mavuso (55) was found strangled at his house in KwaGuqa in Extension 10.

Police went to the crime scene and upon arrival the victim was in the bathroom facing upward with scratches that showed that he was strangled.

There were also scraches on his chest and the victim’s wife was bleeding from her right eye. There were also blood stains on the walls of the house.

The wife confirmed that they had been fighting and she had strangled her husband to death.

The 37 year old wife was then arrested and will appear in court on Monday, October 16.
