The Luhalo family is looking for answers after their son was stabbed to death at Masakhane Streets over the weekend.
Vuyisa Luhalo met his gruesome death on Friday, October 13. It was in the evening when Vuyisa and Phemba Sidlayi were on their way home from a tavern.
On the way they were attacked by three suspects who came from behind them.
“The men were carrying knives and a knobkerrie,” explained Sidlayi.
Sidlayi relaying the story said the suspects assaulted Vuyisa and stabbed him. When Sidlayi tried to intervene he too was attacked and he sustained an injury to his head. He was transported to hospital and discharged shortly afterward.
Police who attended the scene found Vuyisa covered with a blanket. There were wounds in his back and a lot of blood on the ground.
The victim said there were no signs at all that they would be attacked.
