
Three businesses robbed within five days. Suspects stocking up for the festive season which is around the corner.
On Sunday, October 22 at 19:59 in Kiepersol Street, Ms Maria Chikomo was on duty helping customers.
As she handed the customer the slip she was approached by an unknown suspect that was inside the shop.
The suspect was armed with a firearm and he kept telling Chikomo to keep quiet.
After that another two suspects entered the shop also armed with firearms.
While the suspects were inside the shop, they told all the customers that were inside the shop to keep quiet.
Chikomo who was behind the till was told by a suspect to open the till, the suspect took the money and they left the shop.
The previous business robbery took place on Thursday, October 19 at 23:00 in Impala Street.
The security guard on duty that evening alleged that he was busy patrolling when he was attacked by an unknown man who was armed with a firearm.
The suspect, driving a silver Toyota Hilux bakkie, managed to load eight truck tyres onto the bakkie and drove off.
In a separate incident on Wednesday, October 18 at 15:15 in Hans Strydom Street a woman on duty alleged that she was held up by three armed men.
While the woman was working inside the shop, one armed suspect came to her and pointed a gun at her.
Not knowing what to do she froze and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money, her handbag, toiletries and her cell phone.
The suspects drove off in a black Volkswagen Polo and a red Volkswagen Golf.
