A woman was found in the early hours of Sunday morning laying near a shopping centre with her pants loose.

On Saturday evening, October 28 at 22:00 a woman and her brother were travelling around eMalahleni when their vehicle ran out of petrol.

The woman decided to walk to the nearest petrol station to get petrol while her brother remained with the vehicle.

Once she got to the petrol station and got petrol an Isuzu bakkie with three unknown men stopped next to her and offered her a lift back to the vehicle.

The woman climbed in and then she was offered a cool drink which was already opened; she drank it and now cannot remember anything else.

At approximately 02:00 on Sunday morning, October 29 she woke up and she was lying in the corridor of a shopping complex.

An unknown man found her lying there, he went through her handbag and phoned a family member who came to fetch her.

It’s alleged that when the woman woke up she was confused and she was taken to Witbank Provincial Hospital to test to see if she had been raped as nothing was stolen from her handbag.
