On Thursday, November 2 Ms Shauné Botha received the results of the recent Apha-fetoprotein (AFP) blood count and the count has dropped from 17 000 to 5 800.
After he went for his eye tests, those results also came back and there is nothing wrong with his eyes.
But Shauné and Marius got a big fright on Tuesday evening, October 31, after MJ stopped breathing twice in one evening.
They rushed him back to Life Cosmos Hospital, where tests were done by Dr Christian Edeani (paediatrician).
MJ Botha is getting bigger and cuter by the day.
The tests revealed that his iron levels were very low so he was given a blood transfusion and that seemed to help.
MJ was born on Thursday, September 7 and stayed in NICU for 37 days.
