The 16 days started on Saturday, November 25 and will run until Sunday, December 10.
On Sunday, November 26 at 02:00 a 30-year-old woman alleged that she was sleeping in her bedroom, when an unknown man came into the room shining a torch in her eyes, blinding her.
She then asked him what he wanted and he told her to look at his private parts.
He then told her not to scream, he undressed the woman and raped her.
Once he raped her he smashed her cell phone and told her that he will buy her a new cell phone.
The woman can identify the suspect as he works in the garden at her neighbour’s house.
On the same day at 15:00 a woman was standing on the balcony when a friend of hers approached her and asked her where she put his phone.
The woman told him that she never took his phone; he then pushed her into the bedroom where he slapped her.
He then forced her to get undressed and then he raped her.
After he had raped her, he left her in the room. Devastated with what had happened she left the room and went to her house.
Another rape case was reported on the same day at 14:30; a young girl was raped.
The family went to church and when they returned home, their daughter started vomiting. The concerned mother then asked her what was wrong and she said that she was raped at about 11:30.
The young girl alleged that she was walking alone in the corridor when the suspect grabbed her. He told her not to scream and if she did make a noise he would hurt her.
He then pushed her against the wall and raped her.
Once the suspect was finished raping her, he walked away as if nothing had happened.
