Do not have conversations with people you do not know, especially at banks;

Robberies are high, beware of thieves that would lie to you that they work at a specific shop and they can get you a specific product at a lesser price;

Avoid withdrawing a large sum of money, stay alert at all times because thieves monitor people that go inside the bank to make those withdrawals.

In this instance they will follow you and rob you; For women, always keep your bag close to your body and make sure the zip is properly closed.

Cst Mahlakoane pleads with the community to not be culprits of crime and report any suspicious actions to the police or security guards at the shops.
