A business is looking for information after one of their trucks was looted of all its tyres and the load was stolen.

After receiving the complaint, police arrested a suspect on August 15. Unfortunately the case was dismissed because the man could not be linked to the crime.

A feather in the police’s cap is that 19 of the truck tyres worth R200 000 was also recovered.

Mr Marthinus de Bruyn told WITBANK NEWS that one of their drivers left the premises with the Volvo truck to deliver charcoal at Umlazi.
But he did not load anything off at Umlazi.
