At just 34 years old, this healthy and fit radiographer not only conquered the grueling race but also secured an impressive third place on the female list within her Eskom club and ninth overall in the club standings.

On behalf of the X-ray department, Annah Mohuba, Head of Radiology at Life Cosmos Hospital, proudly congratulated Tshidi for her outstanding accomplishment. Annah emphasised how Tshidi’s perseverance and passion for fitness have inspired all her colleagues.

“Completing the Comrades Marathon is an extraordinary achievement, and doing so in 10:47 is a testament to your hard work, training and perseverance. We are incredibly proud of you and celebrate this remarkable milestone with you. Well done on these outstanding accomplishments, and may this be the first of many more successes to come,” she said.

This achievement follows in the footsteps of another Life Cosmos radiographer who completed the Comrades Marathon last year.

The Comrades Marathon is widely regarded as one of the toughest endurance races in the world, and completing it is a testament to Tshidi’s unwavering spirit.

“We celebrate Tshidi’s journey and look forward to witnessing many more victories from our team members in the years to come,” Annah proudly said.
