Laerskool Taalfees launches first indoor action sports festival

Laerskool Taalfees successfully hosted its first-ever Indoor Action Sports Festival – Father’s Day Edition, marking a memorable day of sport and fun.

The event brought together schools, families, sports teams, friends, and community members in a vibrant atmosphere filled with excitement, laughter, and friendly competition.

The event was hosted on June 20 at the Witbank Action Arena.

The festival featured action netball and cricket activities, and it created opportunities for learners, parents, teachers, and community members to connect and celebrate Father’s Day.

The festival also supported the 2026 Taalfees leaders’ fundraising initiative, aimed at creating additional opportunities for learners at Laerskool Taalfees.

Participants embraced the festive spirit, with prizes awarded for best dressed and most spirited.
