Portia Mohwaduba-Skosana

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of eMalahleni’s very own songstress, Portia Mohwaduba-Skosana.

She was a talented soprano singer and narrator of the multi Grammy award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir.

Portia was also a powerful lead worshipper in her local church.

She travelled the world, sharing the stage with international superstars and performing for global audiences, including presidents, kings and queens.

She is survived by three beautiful children and her family.

She was laid to rest on May 5 in eMalahleni in a beautiful, music-filled celebratory service.

May her legacy live on and her soul rest in peace.
