Four suspects arrested after garage robbery
The seized items included a 9mm pistol, one toy gun, an Audi vehicle, three cell phones, money and six packets of cigarettes
SAPS’s Operation Thunderstorm rained terror on suspects after carrying out a robbery at Total garage.
Three male suspects entered the establishment on the evening of Saturday June 15, and held up employees at gun point demanding money and cigarettes at the store’s counter.
Active units of Operation Thunderstorm responded to the scene where they managed to apprehend three suspects and seized their weapons and getaway vehicle.
Upon interrogation the suspects pointed out a fourth male who was their getaway driver.
Members of Witbank Cluster, VISPOL, CI, Middelburg K9, POPS and CPF responded to the scene.
