Boys with a 67 minute drive

What are you doing on this year’s Mandela Day?

Thabang ‘Teekay’ Mmolawa and Bandile Mabogoane would like you to give back this winter!

The two young men are using their time to give back during this year’s Mandela Day with their ‘Jacket Drive.’

The Jacket Drive is in collaboration between the two young men and a media company, also based in eMalahleni.

The Jacket Drive is set to be a convoy starting at The Highveld Mall and is set to make several stops around the city, where the boys, alongside other young people, will collect winter clothes and donate them to the disadvantaged in eMalahleni.

In an enthusiastic interview, Mmolawa says that he applauds everyone who will be giving back on July 18 and that none of this is a competition, but he instead wishes that everyone gives back and uses their time for the greater good of the community.

Mmolawa says that they have already received plenty of donations so far for the drive and hope that they receive more.

He says that people who wish to donate prior to or on Mandela Day are more than welcome to do so and can contact him directly on his Whatsapp line on: 082 382 2407.
