Business as usual for robbers

The safety of business owners and employees are becoming more dangerous every day

When will there be enough security measures to protect your business from being robbed in broad daylight?

The safety of business owners and employees are becoming more dangerous every day.

How far are robbers willing to go for the cash and items in your store?

It has come to the conclusion that security measures needs to be lifted tremendously to ensure the safety of staff and the business.

On September 19 an employee at a local liquor store in the Central Business District (CBD) alleged that while on duty at the till her colleague came in running and screaming in shock that things were bad outside.

She informed her that the suspects are pointing the security with a firearm and that they are on their way into the store.

They lay down only to find that the suspects entered the store and one jumping over the counter demanding to open the till while pointing them with a firearm.

The employee opened the till and the suspects took the money and liquor from the cupboards.

On September 21 a shop in Klipfontein was robbed by two unknown African males, one armed with a firearm.

It is alleged that the two suspects came running into the shop and asked for batteries; they were told that they don’t have any.

The shop owner and his assistant were then told to go to the back of the shop only to be locked at the back of the shop.

After finding their way out, it was to be found that the suspects left with some cell phones and laptops.
