A group of residents had a candle-light ceremony in remembrance of the truck driver that died after the railway-accident earlier this week.

The railway crossing at Old Coronation (near Pap and Vleis) was closed for several hours when a train and a truck collided on Tuesday, July 28.

Mr Aubrey Mtsweni, a community leader said; “they had seen enough bloodshed on the rails. We want PRASSA and the municipality to come to the table with solutions for this huge problem.”
