Mpumalanga Youth Choir singing their way to the caves
In preparation for their ‘Echoes in the Dark’ performance, MYC will have a choir evening on Friday, May 12 at Hoërskool Patriot
The Mpumalanga Youth Choir (MYC) is busy with preparation for their performance in the Sudwala Caves Amphitheatre in the Lowveld.
‘Echoes in the Dark’ will be spectacular performances on May 26 and 27 you don’t want to miss. MYC will share the ‘cave’ over the two days with the Highveld Youth Choir, Laerskool Nelspruit, Laerskool Witrivier, Hoërskool Patriot, Laerskool Bergland and the Crescendo Marimba Group.
In preparation for this big event, MYC will have a choir evening on Friday, May 12 at Hoërskool Patriot.
Four other choirs will join in and the event will start at 18:00.
Tickets are R30 per person as well as a non-perishable food item (tin food, oil, rice, etc.) as the performance goes hand in hand with a food drive by Hoërskool Patriot.
The food will be distributed to underprivileged families.
Tickets can be bought at the door on the evening.
So, apart from doing a good deed, you get a bonus by hearing one of the best choirs in the country performing.
