Choirs were pitch-perfect at Cans of Care Choir Concert
The concerts aim to introduce the MPYC and rekindle the overall love for choir music and at the same time collect non-perishable food for the needy.
Balance, tone, quality and the blend of voices were all pitch-perfect at the recent Cans of Care Concert.
This Cans of Care Concert is the first of a series of choir festivals to follow.
The concert was hosted by the Mpumalanga Youth Choir (MPYC) at Hoërskool Patriot on Friday, May 12.
Three local choirs: Hoërskool Patriot, Laerskool Kragbron and Laerskool Tasbetpark shared the stage with MPYC.
“We aim to introduce the MPYC and rekindle the overall love for choir music which we have joined with a charity project where we collected non-perishable food for the needy,” explained the conductor of MPYC, Mr André Oosthuizen.
